Louis Tomlinson support act ADMT says 1D star showed ‘real character’ with restricted-vie

Louis Tomlinson has been praised by his support act ADMT for offering refunds to fans who had restricted view tickets on his How Did We Get Here? World Tour.

The former One Direction star headlined Unipol Arena Casalecchio di Reno in Bologna earlier this month, and was commended by fans on social media after he addressed his dismay at gig-goers who forked out for a ticket with no view of the stage.

He told fans in a clip circulating on X: “I just wanna say, these tickets behind the screens, it's not right, it's not right.

"Send us an email, we'll refund you, we shouldn't be selling them tickets!"

Speaking exclusively to ContactMusic.com from the road with Louis, ADMT - whose real name is Adam Taylor - shared his own view: "I think it really shows character, because he didn't have to do that.

"And I think that shows you don't have these delusions of grandeur, or you don't think you're too good, like, you'll go, okay out of my pocket. I'll look after you, because that's the right thing to do.

"And I think that's really important and really special, actually, and almost I don't want to be like a pessimist, because I'm not.

"I'm an optimist, but I think it's not something you see all the time these days."

ADMT, who left behind factory shifts and market‑stall graft to chase a music career, says Louis has transformed his life by giving him the chance to play his songs to packed arenas — with the UK run wrapping up on Sunday (03.05.26) at The O2 in London.

He said: "I don't know how to process anything, like, so I'm just doing it and it's been the best experience of my life so far. Definitely up there.

It's everything you would ever dream of. It's pinch me. It's just silly imposter, going, do you deserve this?

I am beyond grateful to Louis. And, you know, for having me, you didn't have to do that.

"And I think it's true for me with people when they don't have to do something, but yet they still do it.

"Yeah, it's made all the world of difference to my life. It's insane."

ADMT is gearing up to release his debut album, From Good To Bad And Then Back Again, on May 15 — but he admits he came close to scrapping the release altogether.

He explained: "I'm the sort of person who I like to see other people's perspectives and sort of take a little thing on that.

"So I was like, Maybe we don't release it.

"And I think I just sat with myself and it's like, Nah, I want to release it. So I think it's just got to the point in my career, where I'm like, I feel like people who follow me deserve that as well, to have, like, a body of something to listen to over just a song every now and again, it doesn't really seem fair as well.

"But yeah, it's been a beautiful battle."
